EDP Renewables North America (EDPRNA), in collaboration with Salt River Project (SRP) and Meta, has commissioned the 200 MW Brittlebush Solar Park near Coolidge, Arizona. The entire capacity of Brittlebush is designated to support Meta’s data centre in Mesa, Arizona. The Southern Regional Power Committee (SRPC) has proposed enhancing the reverse transfer capacity of the ±800kV, 6000 MW Raigarh-Pugalur HVDC system from 3,000 MW to 6,000 MW.
