Coal India Limited (CIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AM Green Ammonia (India) Private Limited to set up 4,500 MW of wind-solar hybrid power capacity in India. The agreement was signed on May 7, 2025. AM Green Ammonia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AM Green Energy Private Limited. Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has re-issued tenders for setting up 234 MW/328 MWp floating solar power projects on Maithon Dam. Apar Industries Limited has bagged two contracts worth Rs 1,329.17 million and Rs 1,155.96 million under the Eastern Region Expansion Scheme-43 (ERES-43). The awards were announced on May 2, 2025.
