Waaree Renewable Energy Technologies Limited (formerly Sangam Renewables Limited) has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) to develop a 105 MWp solar power project on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis in India. TD Power Systems (TDPS) has secured an order worth Rs 570 million from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL). The order involves supplying advanced low-speed induction motors to replace high-speed imported motors with reduced gearboxes. These motors, featuring titanium tube heat exchangers, are designed to meet stringent weight and seismic requirements. They will be installed at NPCIL’s Kudankulam nuclear power plant, and delivery and commissioning are planned for 2025-27.
Advait Energy Transitions (formerly Advait Infratec) has secured a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) under the Product Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, part of the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) initiative (Tranche II). The company will establish a 200 MW manufacturing capacity for alkaline electrolysers in India. The project is expected to be completed within five years.
