Refex Green Mobility acquires 2,997 electric four-wheelers

Refex Green Mobility Limited has acquired 2,997 electric four-wheelers (e4Ws) from Gensol Engineering Limited for Rs 3.15 billion. The acquisition includes the transfer of Gensol’s existing loan facility. The e4Ws will be deployed in key markets such as Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune, where Refex Green Mobility operates.  The company also plans to lease the vehicles to Blu-Smart Mobility Limited to support operations in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru.

JSW Energy fully operationalizes 700 MW Utkal thermal power plant

JSW Energy Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary, has commenced operations of Unit-2 (350 MW) at the Utkal thermal power plant in Odisha. Both units, with a combined capacity of 700 MW, were restored and made fully operational within two years of acquisition.  The plant operates on domestic coal but does not currently have long-term power purchase agreements.

JBIC partners with PFC to fund renewable energy projects in India

Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) has signed an agreement with Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) to finance renewable energy projects in India. Under the agreement, JBIC and PFC will establish a credit line of Rs 66.73 billion (120 billion JPY), with JBIC contributing Rs 40.04 billion (72 billion JPY). bp to sign redevelopment deal for Kirkuk oil and gas fields in Iraq
