Vestas has signed contracts for 225MW of wind turbine projects in the US, Germany, and New Zealand, as part of its Q4 2024 order intake. EVN signs contract for Côn Đảo power connection

Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has signed a VND4.923 trillion contract with PC1 Group and Power Engineering Consulting JSC 4 to connect Côn Đảo to the national grid. The project involves a 77.7 km 110kV submarine cable from Sóc Trăng to Côn Đảo, along with underground and overhead transmission lines. AMEA Power has commissioned the 500 MW Abydos Solar PV Plant in Egypt’s Aswan Governorate.  The plant will generate around 1,500 GWh of renewable energy annually, reducing carbon emissions by 782,300 tonnes.
