Vireon Hydrogen secures €3.8 million grant for 5 MW electrolyser in Finland

Vireon Hydrogen has received a €3.8 million grant from Business Finland to develop a 5 MW electrolyser facility at the Jyväskylä Hydrogen Hub in Finland. TNGECL plans 100 MW wind-solar hybrid projects in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Limited (TNGECL) plans to develop 100 MW cumulative wind-solar hybrid power projects in the state. The projects are expected to be set up on a design, build, own, operate, and transfer (DBOOT) basis in Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari districts. TNGECL is preparing a detailed project report (DPR) for the initiative.

BHEL emerges as L1 bidder for EPC contract for Amarkantak thermal power expansion project

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) package of the Amarkantak Thermal Power Expansion Project.  Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) invited bids for the project in February 2024, and BHEL quoted Rs 89.98 billion. The project involves developing a 660 MW supercritical unit at Chachai in Anuppur district, Madhya Pradesh, replacing the decommissioned 290 MW units from Phases I and II.

Surana Technologies signs PPA with MSEDCL for solar projects in Maharashtra

Surana Technologies Private Limited, a subsidiary of Surana Solar Limited, has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for 25 years.  The agreement covers the development of 54 MW decentralized solar power projects under the “Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0” scheme in Maharashtra.
