AM Green Ammonia signs PPA with Gentari for 650 MW RTC green power

AM Green Ammonia India has entered into a binding power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gentari through its subsidiary, Gentari Renewables India Castor One.  Under this long-term agreement, Gentari will supply 650 MW of round-the-clock (RTC), carbon-free energy to power AMG Ammonia’s upcoming green ammonia facilities. MNRE includes solar PV cells in ALMM framework

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has announced the inclusion of solar PV cells in a newly introduced List-II under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), set to take effect from June 1, 2026.  This amendment expands the ALMM framework, which previously only covered solar modules.
