NTPC Green Energy and MAHAGENCO form JV for renewable energy parks

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, and Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO) have established a joint venture company, MAHAGENCO NTPC Green Energy Private Limited (MNGEPL).  The JV was incorporated on November 25, 2024. MNGEPL is a 50:50 partnership focused on developing, operating, and maintaining renewable energy parks in Maharashtra under the Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Parks (UMREPP) program.

Siemens reports 45% profit growth in Q4 FY 2024

Siemens Limited posted strong Q4 FY 2024 financial results, with a 45% increase in profit after tax to Rs 7.75 billion and an 11% revenue rise to Rs 58.94 billion. Adani Green Energy establishes new subsidiary for renewable energy projects

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has established a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani Hydro Energy Five Limited (AHE5L), through its subsidiary Adani Saur Urja (KA) Limited.  Incorporated on November 26, 2024, AHE5L is registered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with an authorized and paid-up capital of Rs 100,000. AHE5L will generate, develop, transform, distribute, transmit, sell, and supply power through renewable energy sources, including wind and solar.

NTPC Green signs MoU for 2000 MW renewable energy projects in Chhattisgarh

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL) to develop renewable energy projects with a capacity of up to 2000 MW.  The projects will include floating solar power installations. The MoU was signed on November 26, 2024, in Raipur by Shri G. K. Gupta, Chief Engineer of CSPGCL, and Shri D. Joshi, General Manager (Engineering) of NGEL.

Solarworld Energy raises Rs 1.1 billion in pre-IPO placement round
