SJVN to develop 8.1 GW pumped storage, 505 MW floating solar projects in Maharashtra
State-run SJVN Ltd has signed two MoUs with the Maharashtra Government to develop 8.1 GW of pumped storage projects and 505 MW floating solar projects. The first MoU, with the Department of Water Resources, covers five pumped storage projects totalling 8.1 GW, including Kolmondapada (800 MW), Sidgarh (1,500 MW), Chornai (2,000 MW), Baitarni (1,800 MW), and Jalvara (2,000 MW).
